Tired of of hitting a mud hole and hanging up on the high center of a rut? Does all your friends get a kick out of watching you hang up in the hole they just blasted through? Ready to hit the mud? Well are you? OK first things first , you’re going to need a good set of mud tires. Getting excited yet? Before you brake out the old credit card you need to consider the conditions where you normally ride. Is your riding area mostly trails with some muddy ruts, or does every other hole have 3 to 4 feet of  sloppy wet mud in it? If the conditions aren’t to bad you might want to go with a less aggressive mud tire. A 26″or 27″ mud/trail tire would do good for these conditions, anything larger and you might have to add a lift kit.
